Afghan Football Federation
The Afghan Football Federation (AFF) is the governing body for football in Afghanistan. Established in 1933, it oversees the organization and promotion of football activities in the country, including the national teams and local leagues. The AFF is responsible for developing the sport at all levels, from grassroots to professional.
The federation is a member of both the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and FIFA, which allows Afghan teams to compete internationally. Despite facing challenges due to political instability, the AFF continues to work towards improving the sport and providing opportunities for players in Afghanistan.
