Aegir
Aegir is a figure from Norse mythology, known as the god of the sea. He is often depicted as a giant who rules over the ocean and is associated with storms and the dangers of the sea. Aegir is also famous for hosting elaborate feasts for the gods, where he serves ale brewed in his cauldron.
In addition to his role as a sea god, Aegir is the husband of Ran, a goddess who personifies the sea's more treacherous aspects. Together, they have nine daughters, known as the Märchen, who represent the waves. Aegir's character embodies both the beauty and peril of the ocean.
