God of the Sea
The "God of the Sea" is a deity associated with oceans, rivers, and all bodies of water. In various mythologies, this figure is often depicted as having control over storms, tides, and marine life. One of the most well-known examples is Poseidon from ancient Greek mythology, who wields a trident and is considered the ruler of the sea.
In Roman mythology, the equivalent of Poseidon is Neptune, who also governs water and is often depicted with similar attributes. These sea gods are frequently invoked for protection during voyages and are celebrated in rituals to ensure safe passage across the waters.
