Admiral William H. McRaven
Admiral William H. McRaven is a retired four-star admiral in the United States Navy and a former commander of the U.S. Special Operations Command. He is best known for overseeing the operation that led to the death of Osama bin Laden in 2011. McRaven has had a distinguished military career, serving in various capacities and earning numerous awards for his leadership and service.
After retiring from the Navy, McRaven became the chancellor of the University of Texas System and has been involved in public speaking and writing. He authored the bestselling book, “Make Your Bed,” which shares life lessons learned from his military experience.
