Adelheid of Belgium
Adelheid of Belgium was born on July 19, 1817, as the daughter of King William I of the Netherlands and Princess Wilhelmina of Prussia. She became the Queen Consort of Leopold I of Belgium when they married in 1832. Adelheid played a significant role in promoting the arts and education in Belgium during her husband's reign.
As queen, Adelheid was known for her charitable work and dedication to social causes. She supported various initiatives aimed at improving the lives of the less fortunate. Adelheid passed away on December 3, 1850, leaving a lasting legacy in Belgian history.
