Adelaide of Vexin
Adelaide of Vexin (c. 1030–1090) was a noblewoman from the Vexin region in France. She was the daughter of Raoul de Vexin, a prominent nobleman, and became known for her marriage to Hugh IV of France, which strengthened political alliances in the region.
Adelaide was also the mother of Philip I of France, who became king in 1060. Her lineage played a significant role in the French monarchy, and her descendants continued to influence European politics. She is often remembered for her contributions to the stability of the Capetian dynasty.
