Ada de Warenne
Ada de Warenne was a noblewoman from the 12th century, known for her marriage to Henry the Young King, the son of King Henry II of England. She was the daughter of William de Warenne, the 2nd Earl of Surrey, and Elizabeth de Vermandois.
Ada played a significant role in the political landscape of her time, as marriages among nobility often strengthened alliances. After her husband's death in 1183, she became a widow and managed her own estates, showcasing the influence and responsibilities women could hold in medieval society.
