Ad Hoc Committees
An Ad Hoc Committee is a temporary group formed to address a specific issue or task. Unlike permanent committees, which have ongoing responsibilities, ad hoc committees are created for a particular purpose and disband once their work is completed. They are often used in organizations, such as corporations or government bodies, to tackle unique challenges or projects that require focused attention.
These committees typically consist of members with relevant expertise or experience related to the task at hand. The goal is to gather diverse perspectives and skills to develop solutions or recommendations. Once the committee achieves its objectives, it submits its findings and is dissolved, allowing the organization to move forward.
