Acid Survivors Foundation
The Acid Survivors Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting survivors of acid attacks in Bangladesh. Founded in 2002, it aims to provide medical, legal, and psychological assistance to victims, helping them rebuild their lives after such traumatic incidents. The foundation also works to raise awareness about the issue and advocate for stronger laws against acid violence.
In addition to direct support, the foundation engages in community education programs to prevent acid attacks and promote gender equality. By collaborating with local and international partners, the Acid Survivors Foundation strives to create a safer environment for all, particularly for women and girls who are disproportionately affected.
