Academic Credit
Academic credit is a measure used by educational institutions to quantify the amount of coursework a student has completed. Typically, one credit represents a certain number of hours spent in class and studying outside of class. For example, a standard college course might be worth three credits, indicating that students are expected to dedicate a specific amount of time to that course each week.
Credits are essential for fulfilling the requirements of a degree program, such as a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree. Students accumulate credits by successfully completing courses, and a minimum number of credits is needed to graduate.
