Abu Jahl
Abu Jahl, whose full name was Amr ibn Hisham, was a prominent leader of the Quraysh tribe in Mecca during the early days of Islam. He is often remembered as one of the staunchest opponents of the Prophet Muhammad and the new faith. Abu Jahl played a significant role in the persecution of early Muslims, actively working to suppress the spread of Islam.
He was known for his fierce opposition and hostility towards the teachings of Muhammad, often mocking and ridiculing the new religion. His actions made him a symbol of resistance against Islam, and he is frequently referred to as the "Pharaoh of this Ummah" due to his arrogance and defiance. Abu Jahl met his end during the Battle of Badr, where he was killed by Muslim forces.
