ATSC
ATSC, or Advanced Television Systems Committee, is a set of standards for digital television transmission in the United States. Established in the 1990s, it replaced the older analog broadcasting system, allowing for higher quality video and audio, as well as additional features like interactive content and multiple channels within the same frequency.
The ATSC standards include various versions, with ATSC 3.0 being the latest, which supports 4K resolution, improved audio, and better reception. This technology enables broadcasters to deliver more engaging and flexible viewing experiences, adapting to the needs of modern audiences.
