APNU+AFC
The APNU+AFC is a political coalition in Guyana formed in 2015. It combines the A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) and the Alliance for Change (AFC) to contest elections and govern together. The coalition aims to address issues such as economic development, social justice, and national unity.
In the 2015 general elections, the APNU+AFC coalition won a majority, ending the long-standing rule of the People's Progressive Party (PPP). The coalition was led by David Granger as the presidential candidate, focusing on reforms and anti-corruption measures during its time in office.
