5th Duke of Manchester
The 5th Duke of Manchester, known as George Augustus Frederick, was born on January 1, 1826. He inherited the title in 1848 after the death of his father, the 4th Duke. The 5th Duke was a prominent figure in British society during the 19th century and was known for his lavish lifestyle and involvement in various social events.
He was also a member of the House of Lords and served as a Lord Lieutenant of Midlothian. The 5th Duke married Lady Mary Anne Fitzalan-Howard in 1850, and they had several children. He passed away on June 18, 1892, and was succeeded by his son, the 6th Duke of Manchester.
