George Augustus Frederick
George Augustus Frederick, known as King George IV, was born on August 12, 1762, and became King of the United Kingdom in 1820. He was the eldest son of King George III and served as Prince Regent from 1811 due to his father's mental illness.
George IV was known for his extravagant lifestyle and patronage of the arts, which contributed to the cultural development of the period. His reign saw significant events, including the Battle of Waterloo in 1815, and he was instrumental in the construction of the Royal Pavilion in Brighton. He died on June 26, 1830.
