4 Non Blondes
4 Non Blondes is an American rock band formed in 1989 in San Francisco, California. The group is best known for their hit single "What's Up?" released in 1993, which became a defining anthem of the 1990s. The band's music blends elements of rock, folk, and alternative genres, characterized by powerful vocals and socially conscious lyrics.
The original lineup consisted of Linda Perry (vocals, guitar), Christina Amato (bass), Shaunna Hall (guitar), and Dawn Richardson (drums). Although they disbanded in 1994 after releasing their only studio album, "Bigger, Better, Faster, More!", their music continues to resonate with audiences today.
