24-Hour Format
The "24-Hour Format," also known as military time, is a method of measuring time that runs from 00:00 to 23:59. In this system, the day starts at midnight (00:00) and ends just before the next midnight (23:59). Each hour is represented by a two-digit number, eliminating the need for "AM" or "PM" designations.
This format is commonly used in various fields, including transportation, healthcare, and military operations, where clarity and precision are essential. For example, a train scheduled to depart at 15:30 is set to leave at 3:30 PM, making it easier to avoid confusion in time-sensitive situations.
