1958 World Cup
The 1958 World Cup was the sixth edition of the FIFA World Cup, held in Sweden from June 8 to June 29, 1958. This tournament marked the first time that the competition featured teams from all six FIFA confederations. A total of 16 teams participated, with Brazil emerging as the champion after defeating Sweden 5-2 in the final.
The tournament is notable for the emergence of Pelé, who was just 17 years old at the time and became the youngest player to score in a World Cup. Brazil's victory in 1958 was their first of five World Cup titles.
