후한
후한 (Later Han) refers to the period of the Han dynasty in China that followed the 신한 (Xin dynasty). It lasted from 25 AD to 220 AD and is known for its significant cultural, economic, and technological advancements. The Later Han period saw the restoration of the Han dynasty after a brief interruption, leading to a flourishing of trade along the 실크로드 (Silk Road) and the spread of Confucianism.
During the 후한, notable figures such as 장량 (Zhang Liang) and 관우 (Guan Yu) emerged, contributing to the political and military landscape of the time. The period is also marked by the invention of paper and advancements in agriculture, which helped sustain the growing population. However, it eventually faced internal strife and corruption, leading to its decline and the eventual fragmentation of China.
