The 티그라이 인민 해방 전선 (TPLF) is a political and military organization in Ethiopia that was founded in 1975. It originally aimed to promote the rights and interests of the Tigray ethnic group and played a significant role in the overthrow of the Derg regime in 1991, which led to the establishment of the Ethiopian People's Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF). In recent years, the TPLF has been involved in a conflict with the Ethiopian government, which escalated in late 2020.
