테라코타 군대
The "테라코타 군대" (Terracotta Army) is a collection of life-sized clay sculptures that were buried with Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China, around 210-209 BCE. Discovered in 1974 near the city of Xi'an, this army was created to protect the emperor in the afterlife.
The Terracotta Army consists of thousands of soldiers, horses, and chariots, each uniquely crafted with distinct facial features and expressions. The site includes several large pits, with the most famous pit housing over 8,000 soldiers. This remarkable archaeological find provides valuable insights into the military practices and artistry of the Qin Dynasty.
