카잔 칸국
The 카잔 칸국 (Kazan Khanate) was a Tatar state that existed from the 15th to the 16th century in what is now central Russia. It emerged after the decline of the 몽골 제국 (Mongol Empire) and became a significant political and cultural center for the Tatar people. The capital, 카잔 (Kazan), was known for its vibrant trade and diverse population.
The Khanate played a crucial role in the region's history, often clashing with the expanding 모스크바 대공국 (Grand Duchy of Moscow). In 1552, it fell to Ivan IV, also known as 이반 뇌제 (Ivan the Terrible), marking the end of its independence and the incorporation of its territory into the Russian state.
