재세례파
재세례파, or the Anabaptists, emerged during the Protestant Reformation in the 16th century. They believed in adult baptism, rejecting infant baptism practiced by both the Catholic Church and other Protestant groups. Anabaptists emphasized personal faith and the importance of a conscious decision to follow Jesus Christ.
The movement faced severe persecution, leading many Anabaptists to form separate communities. They advocated for a simple lifestyle, pacifism, and separation from state affairs. Today, descendants of the Anabaptists include groups like the Mennonites and Amish, who continue to uphold these principles in their daily lives.
