이드
이드(Id) is a concept in psychology introduced by Sigmund Freud. It represents the part of the mind that contains our basic instincts and desires. The id operates on the pleasure principle, seeking immediate gratification and avoiding pain. It is present from birth and is responsible for our most primal urges, such as hunger and thirst.
In Freud's model, the id is one of three components of the human psyche, alongside the ego and superego. While the id is impulsive and chaotic, the ego mediates between the id's desires and the realities of the world. The superego, on the other hand, incorporates the moral standards of society.
