아폴로 16
아폴로 16 was the fifth crewed mission in the 아폴로 프로그램 and the first to explore the lunar highlands. Launched on April 16, 1972, it aimed to study the geology of the Moon's surface and collect samples. The mission lasted 11 days, with astronauts John Young, Charles Duke, and Ken Mattingly aboard.
During their stay on the Moon, the crew conducted three moonwalks, covering over 27 kilometers. They collected 94 kilograms of lunar rocks and soil, providing valuable insights into the Moon's history. The mission successfully returned to Earth on April 27, 1972.
