소행성대
소행성대, or the Asteroid Belt, is a region in space located between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter. It is home to a vast number of small rocky bodies called asteroids, which vary in size and composition. The total mass of all the asteroids in this belt is much less than that of Earth's Moon.
The Asteroid Belt is believed to be remnants from the early solar system that never coalesced into a planet. Some of the largest asteroids include Ceres, Vesta, and Pallas. Scientists study these objects to learn more about the formation and evolution of our solar system.
