셀수스 도서관
The 셀수스 도서관, or Celsus Library, is an ancient Roman building located in 에페소스, Turkey. Constructed around 135 AD, it was built to honor 티베리우스 줄리우스 셀수스, a Roman senator. The library was designed to store thousands of scrolls and served as a major center of learning in the ancient world.
The structure features a grand façade with intricate columns and statues, showcasing the architectural style of the time. Although it was damaged by earthquakes and later plundered, the library was partially restored in the 20th century, making it a popular tourist attraction and a symbol of ancient knowledge.
