디아스 정권
"디아스 정권" refers to the period of authoritarian rule in Mexico under President Porfirio Díaz, which lasted from 1876 to 1911. Díaz's government is characterized by political stability, economic modernization, and significant foreign investment, particularly from the United States. However, his regime was also marked by repression, limited political freedoms, and social inequality.
The discontent with Díaz's rule eventually led to the Mexican Revolution in 1910, a major armed struggle that aimed to overthrow his government. The revolution was fueled by various social and political movements, ultimately resulting in Díaz's resignation and the establishment of a more democratic government in Mexico.
