나스카 라인
The 나스카 라인 (Nazca Lines) are a series of large geoglyphs located in the 나스카 Desert of southern 페루. These ancient designs, created by the 나스카 문화 between 500 BCE and 500 CE, include various shapes such as animals, plants, and geometric figures. The lines are made by removing the top layer of reddish pebbles to reveal the lighter soil beneath.
The purpose of the 나스카 라인 remains a mystery, with theories suggesting they may have had religious or astronomical significance. The geoglyphs can be best viewed from the air, making them a popular attraction for tourists and researchers interested in ancient civilizations.
