鳞翅目
鳞翅目, or Lepidoptera, is an order of insects that includes butterflies and moths. These creatures are characterized by their large, scaled wings, which often display vibrant colors and patterns. They undergo a complete metamorphosis, transitioning from egg to larva (caterpillar), then to pupa (chrysalis), and finally to adult.
This order is one of the most diverse in the animal kingdom, with over 180,000 species identified. Lepidoptera play essential roles in ecosystems, such as pollination and serving as food for other animals. Their presence is also significant in agriculture and horticulture, both as beneficial pollinators and as pests.
