高度経済成長期
高度経済成長期 (Kōdo Keizai Seichōki), or the "High Economic Growth Period," refers to the time in Japan from the late 1950s to the early 1970s when the country experienced rapid industrialization and economic expansion. This period was marked by significant increases in production, income, and living standards, largely driven by the recovery from World War II and government policies promoting industrial growth.
During this time, Japan became a global economic powerhouse, with major industries such as automobiles, electronics, and steel leading the way. The growth was supported by a strong workforce, technological advancements, and foreign investments, transforming Japan into one of the world's largest economies by the 1970s.
