青森ねぶた祭り
The 青森ねぶた祭り (Aomori Nebuta Matsuri) is a vibrant summer festival held annually in Aomori City, Japan. It typically takes place from August 2 to August 7, attracting thousands of visitors. The festival features large, illuminated floats called ねぶた (nebuta), which are intricately designed and often depict historical figures, mythical creatures, and scenes from Japanese folklore.
During the festival, participants known as ねぶた囃子 (nebuta bayashi) play traditional music while dancers, called ハネト (haneto), energetically perform around the floats. The event culminates in a grand parade, where the floats are showcased, creating a lively atmosphere filled with color and excitement.
