長浜藩
長浜藩 was a feudal domain in Japan during the Edo period, located in what is now Nagahama City in Shiga Prefecture. Established in 1600, it was ruled by the Tachibana clan and played a significant role in regional politics and economy. The domain was known for its agricultural production and strategic location along the Lake Biwa.
The domain's territory was relatively small, but it was influential due to its proximity to Kyoto and Osaka. After the Meiji Restoration in 1868, the feudal system was abolished, and 長浜藩 was dissolved, becoming part of the modern administrative structure of Japan.
