胡图族
胡图族 (Hutu) is an ethnic group primarily found in Rwanda and Burundi. They are one of the largest ethnic groups in these countries and traditionally engaged in agriculture, particularly farming crops like beans and sorghum. The Hutu people have a rich cultural heritage, including music, dance, and oral traditions.
Historically, the Hutu have had a complex relationship with another ethnic group, the Tutsi. Tensions between the two groups escalated in the 1990s, culminating in the tragic Rwandan Genocide of 1994, where hundreds of thousands of Tutsi and moderate Hutu were killed. This event significantly impacted the region's social and political landscape.
