立陶宛語
立陶宛語 (Lithuanian) is a Baltic language spoken primarily in Lithuania. It is one of the oldest languages in Europe, retaining many features of Proto-Indo-European, the ancestor of many modern languages. With around 3 million speakers, it is the official language of Lithuania and is recognized for its complex grammar and rich vocabulary.
The language uses the Latin alphabet and has a unique phonetic system. Lithuanian is closely related to Latvian, another Baltic language, but they are not mutually intelligible. Efforts to preserve and promote Lithuanian culture and language continue, especially among the diaspora.
