杜甫
杜甫 (Du Fu) was a prominent Chinese poet of the Tang Dynasty, often regarded as one of the greatest poets in Chinese literature. Born in 712, he lived through a tumultuous period marked by political strife and social upheaval. His poetry reflects deep empathy for the suffering of ordinary people and often addresses themes of war, poverty, and the moral responsibilities of rulers.
Du Fu's work is characterized by its rich imagery and emotional depth. He wrote over 1,400 poems, many of which are still studied and celebrated today.
