关羽 (Guan Yu)
关羽 (Guan Yu) was a famous general during the late Eastern Han dynasty and the Three Kingdoms period in ancient China. He is best known for his loyalty to his sworn brother 刘备 (Liu Bei) and his role in the 蜀汉 (Shu Han) kingdom. Guan Yu is often depicted as a symbol of loyalty and righteousness in Chinese culture.
He is also recognized for his exceptional martial skills and is frequently portrayed wielding a green dragon crescent blade. In Chinese folklore, Guan Yu is deified and worshipped as the god of war, known as 关帝 (Guandi), and is celebrated in various festivals and temples across China.
