京沪高速公路
The 京沪高速公路, also known as the Beijing-Shanghai Expressway, is a major highway in China that connects the capital city, Beijing, to the financial hub, Shanghai. Spanning approximately 1,262 kilometers, it is one of the busiest and most important expressways in the country, facilitating both passenger and freight transport.
Opened in 2001, the expressway significantly reduces travel time between the two cities, making it possible to drive from Beijing to Shanghai in about 12 hours. The highway features multiple lanes and modern facilities, contributing to the rapid economic development of the regions it connects.
