پاکستان مسلم لیگ
پاکستان مسلم لیگ (Pakistan Muslim League) is a major political party in Pakistan, founded in 2001. It emerged from the legacy of the original Muslim League, which played a crucial role in the creation of Pakistan in 1947. The party primarily represents the interests of the Muslim community and aims to promote democratic values and economic development in the country.
The party has undergone several splits and reconfigurations, leading to different factions, such as Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q). PML-N, led by Nawaz Sharif, has been particularly influential, holding power multiple times since the late 1990s.
