نوروز
نوروز, or "Nowruz," is the Persian New Year, celebrated on the vernal equinox, usually around March 20 or 21. It marks the beginning of spring and symbolizes renewal and rebirth. This ancient festival has roots in Zoroastrianism and is celebrated by millions of people, particularly in Iran, Afghanistan, and other countries in Central Asia.
During نوروز, families engage in various traditions, such as cleaning their homes, visiting relatives, and preparing special meals. One of the most important customs is setting up a Haft-Seen table, which includes seven symbolic items that start with the Persian letter "S." The celebration lasts for about two weeks, filled with joy, music, and cultural activities.
