شاهنامه
《شاهنامه》, or the "Shahnameh," is an epic poem written by the Persian poet Ferdowsi around the year 1010 CE. It is considered one of the most important works of Persian literature and tells the history of Iran from its mythical origins to the Islamic conquest. The poem is composed of over 50,000 couplets and is divided into three main sections: the mythical, the heroic, and the historical.
The narrative features legendary figures such as Rostam, a heroic warrior, and Zal, his father, along with various kings and mythical creatures. The themes of justice, heroism, and the struggle between good and evil are central to the story, reflecting the values and culture of ancient Persia.
