رقصة الدراويش
"رقصة الدراويش" (Whirling Dervishes) is a form of Sufi dance that originated in Turkey. It is performed by members of the Mevlevi Order, a Sufi brotherhood founded by the followers of the poet Rumi. The dance symbolizes the spiritual journey of the soul towards perfection and unity with the divine.
During the performance, dancers wear long, flowing robes and spin in a circular motion, creating a meditative state. The dance is accompanied by traditional music, often featuring instruments like the ney (a type of flute) and drum. This practice is not only a form of worship but also a way to express devotion and seek spiritual enlightenment.
