تايرا نو كيوموري
تايرا نو كيوموري (Taira no Kiyomori) was a prominent Japanese military leader during the late Heian period. He was the head of the Taira clan, which played a significant role in the power struggles of the time. Kiyomori is best known for his ambition to dominate the imperial court and his efforts to elevate the status of his clan.
Kiyomori's rise to power culminated in the Genpei War, a conflict between the Taira and the Minamoto clan. His leadership was marked by both military success and political maneuvering, but ultimately, his clan faced defeat, leading to the decline of Taira influence in Japan.
