اورنگزیب
اورنگزیب (Aurangzeb) was the sixth Mughal emperor, ruling from 1658 to 1707. He is known for expanding the Mughal Empire to its greatest territorial extent, covering much of the Indian subcontinent. His reign is marked by a strict interpretation of Islam and the implementation of policies that aimed to promote Islamic values.
Despite his military successes, اورنگزیب's rule faced criticism for its religious intolerance and heavy taxation. His actions contributed to the decline of the Mughal Empire after his death, leading to increased regional powers and the eventual rise of the British colonial presence in India.
