тРНК
тРНК, or транспортная РНК (transfer RNA), is a type of RNA molecule that plays a crucial role in the process of protein synthesis. It acts as a bridge between the genetic code carried by мРНК (messenger RNA) and the amino acids that make up proteins. Each тРНК molecule is specific to one amino acid and has an anticodon that pairs with the corresponding codon on the мРНК.
During translation, тРНК molecules transport their attached amino acids to the ribosome, where proteins are assembled. This process ensures that the correct sequence of amino acids is added to the growing polypeptide chain, ultimately determining the structure and function of the resulting protein.
