Ясриб
Ясриб, also known as Медина, is a city in western Saudi Arabia. It is historically significant as it was the destination of the Prophet Мухаммед and his followers during the Hijra in 622 CE. This migration marked the beginning of the Islamic calendar and established Ясриб as a key center for the early Muslim community.
The city was later renamed Медина, meaning "the city of the Prophet." It became a vital hub for trade and culture in the Arabian Peninsula. Today, Ясриб/Mедина is known for its religious significance, particularly the Мечеть аль-Набави, which is one of the holiest sites in Islam.
