Сулеймание
Сулеймание, or the Süleymaniye Mosque, is a grand mosque located in Istanbul, Turkey. It was commissioned by the Ottoman Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent and completed in 1557. The mosque is renowned for its stunning architecture, featuring a large dome and four minarets, symbolizing the power of the Ottoman Empire.
The mosque complex also includes a medrese (educational institution), a hammam (public bath), and a tomb for Suleiman and his wife, Hurrem Sultan. The design was created by the famous architect Mimar Sinan, who is considered one of the greatest architects in Islamic history.
