Суккот
Суккот, also known as the Feast of Tabernacles, is a Jewish holiday that occurs in the fall, five days after Yom Kippur. It lasts for seven days in Israel and eight days in the diaspora. The holiday commemorates the Israelites' journey in the desert after their exodus from Egypt, symbolizing their reliance on God.
During Суккот, families build temporary structures called sukkahs, which are decorated and used for meals and gatherings. The holiday also includes the ritual of waving the Four Species—a palm branch, myrtle, willow, and citron—representing different aspects of nature and unity among the Jewish people.
