Северна Македонија
Северна Македонија, officially known as the Republic of North Macedonia, is a country located in Southeast Europe on the Balkan Peninsula. It shares borders with Kosovo to the north, Serbia to the northeast, Bulgaria to the east, Greece to the south, and Albania to the west. The capital city is Skopje, which is known for its historical sites and diverse architecture.
The country has a population of about 2 million people and its official language is Macedonian. North Macedonia declared independence from Yugoslavia in 1991. It is a member of various international organizations, including the United Nations and NATO, and is a candidate for membership in the European Union.
