Рамаяна
The "Рамаяна" is an ancient Indian epic that narrates the life and adventures of Рама, a prince of Айодхья. It explores themes of duty, righteousness, and devotion as Рама embarks on a quest to rescue his wife, Сита, who has been abducted by the demon king Равана.
The epic is traditionally attributed to the sage Вальмики and consists of about 24,000 verses. It is divided into seven books, known as Канды, and has been influential in shaping Indian culture, literature, and religious practices throughout history.
